DigitalAid formed in September, 2004. Samantha Moscheck, who founded the company, has worked in this field since 1996. Prior to forming DigitalAid, she was the technical project manager at Project Alchemy, a nonprofit organization whose mission was to help the social justice movement across 5 states in the Pacific Northwest use technology more effectively. Project Alchemy folded due to lack of funding in 2004, leading to the birth of DigitalAid, a sustainable fee-for-service social enterprise focused on a similar mission. Samantha brings 12 years of experience working with social change organizations in various roles as staff member, board member, and consultant. Her staff position included: fundraiser charged with grantwriting and membership development, project manager, organizer, and technology specialist. This experience has been invaluable in her consulting work with nonprofits. Today, the DigitalAid team consists of eight consultants, each of whom bring deep nonprofit experience to the work. Between us, we provide the following services:
  • Technical project management
